Polling Place Consolidation
By: Maryel Doyon

4/17/2009 - As a result of polling place consolidation, done by the
Portland City Council on February 2, 2009, please be
advised that your polling place may have changed,
for all elections. If you are unable to go to your polling
place on Election Day, there are many ways to obtain
an absentee ballot. Call the City Clerk’s office at
874-8677 any time within Ninety (90) days before any
Election, and we will mail an absentee ballot to you when
they arrive in our office, usually 30 to 45 days before the
Election. You do not need a reason to vote absentee. All
ballots must be returned to the City Clerk by 8:00 P.M. on
Election Day. Please visit www.portlandvoters.com for frequently asked election questions. To check your
