Portland Offers H1N1 Vaccination Clinic Friday
Free clinic open to priority groups
What: Friday, the City of Portland, HHSD’s Public Health Division will offer a free H1N1 flu vaccination clinic for the following priority groups:
• Children and young adults, ages 6 months through 24 years,
• Pregnant and postpartum* women (*recently given birth),
• Household contacts and caregivers for children under 6 months of age,
• Adults ages 25 through 64 years old who have chronic health conditions that put them at risk, and
• Health care personnel who are in frequent contact with high risk patients and infectious materials.
Boosters will be made available for children six months through nine years who show record of a first shot at least one month earlier.
