No Curbside Trash/Recycling in Portland on Thanksgiving Day Holiday

PORTLAND, Maine – The Department of Public Services Solid Waste crews will not collect trash or recycling on Thanksgiving, November 26, and Friday, November 27. Residents who normally receive collection services on Thursday and Friday will need to wait until the following week December 3 and 4 for trash and recycling pick-up. If residents have further questions about their trash/recycling collection, they can contact the Recycling Hotline at 756-8189 or visit online.

The Riverside Recycling Facility will also be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday, and will resume normal business hours on Saturday, November 28, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
