Berry Avenue, Chelsey Avenue and Edgewood Avenue

PORTLAND, Maine – A new Combined Sewer Overflow Abatement project begins today and will cause some traffic delays in outer Washington Avenue neighborhoods. Traffic delays can be expected on Berry Avenue, Chelsey Avenue, and Edgewood Avenue between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. This work is expected to be completed by June 30, 2010. Until then, commuters should expect traffic delays on these streets and may want to seek an alternate route.
