The Maine State Pier is located directly on Portland’s historic waterfront. With dramatic views of Casco Bay and the city sky line, it is an ideal place to hold a concert, festival or gathering of any kind. The pier has a capacity of 3000 for events. The pier has few modern amenities so please inquire about what you will need to provide depending on the size of your event.
The only lighting are street lights along the west side of the pier.
Power is available at the street light poles and from the transformer located on the eastern side of the pier.
There is no sound system at the pier. A small portable sound system may be rented thru Recreation and Facilities Management, subject to availability.
