The Portland Fish Pier Authority was incorporated on August 14, 1989. The Authority was formed by Municipal Officers of the City of Portland as a local development corporation for the purposes of managing and marketing the entire premises known as the Portland Fish Pier for the benefit of the fishing and fishery-related business enterprises and the citizens of the City of Portland. The Portland Fish Pier Authority establishes rules and regulations for the safe, businesslike operation of the entire Fish Pier, as well to ensure the Pier continues to support the commercial fishing community.

Meeting Schedule

The Portland Fish Pier Authority meets every other month. Meetings are held at Portland City Hall Room 209 and are scheduled for: February 13, 2012, April 9, 2012, June 11, 2012, August 13, 2012, October-TBA, December 10, 2012.
