The City offers homeownership and housing rehabilitation programs to:

Our focus is providing decent, safe and affordable housing for low and moderate income residents of Portland.

A wide range of people benefit from these services, including senior citizens who need new furnaces and other repairs to remain in their homes; the single mom purchasing her first home; the family just starting out in need of an affordable apartment to rent; and the handicapped individual in need of an affordable and accessible home.
