REPORT OF DECISIONS AT THE PREVIOUS MEETING, HELD ON NOVEMBER 25th, 2008. i. Rufus Deering Lumber, Site Plan; Vicinity of 383 Commercial Street; Rufus Deering Lumber Company, Applicant. The Planning Board voted unanimously 7-0 to waive the driveway width to allow a 36’ driveway. The Planning Board voted unanimously 7-0 to waive the required sidewalk on York Street, due to criteria 1, 3, and 6. The Planning Board voted unanimously 7-0 to approve the site plan subject to 6 conditions of approval. ii. Sustainable Portland Report, Proposed Element of Comprehensive Plan; City of Portland, Applicant. The Planning Board voted unanimously 7-0 to recommend the Sustainable Portland Plan to the City Council as a component of the Comprehensive Plan. iii. Chapter 500 Stormwater Amendments to Portland’s Technical and Design Standards and Guidelines; City of Portland, Applicant. The Planning Board voted unanimously 5-0 (Hall and Odokara absent) to approve the Chapter 500 revisions to the Technical and Design Standards and Guidelines. New Business i. Bayside Rail Yard Subdivision, Subdivision Review; Vicinity of Somerset, Chestnut, Elm and Franklin Streets; City of Portland, Applicant. (4:00- 4:30 PM- estimated time, subject to change) A proposal for a 9 lot subdivision with a land area of 6.38 acres. ii.
