| 1. | WORKSHOP- 3:30 PM i. Ocean Avenue School SITE-WALK; Vicinity of 152 Ocean Avenue; City of Portland, Applicant. (3:30- 4:30PM- estimated time, subject to change) A proposal by the School District and the City of Portland to construct an approximately 73,960 square foot elementary school building with attendant parking , walks, stormwater management infrastructure, and play areas on a +/-12 acre site at 152 Ocean Avenue. The playing area will consist of an all purpose field, a paved area for basketball and outdoor games, and four (4) play areas. This parcel is the site of the Baxter School. The project will be reviewed for compliance with the City’s Site Plan Ordinance and as a Site Location of Development Project. **Meeting reconvenes in Room 209, Second Floor, City Hall ii. Rufus Deering Lumber Site Plan; Vicinity of 383 Commercial Street; Rufus Deering Lumber, Applicant. (4:30- 5:30 PM- estimated time, subject to change) A proposal by Rufus Deering Lumber Company to develop their property at 383 Commercial Street. The proposal includes the construction of an approximately 29,000 sq. Ft. Drive thru warehouse, parking lot improvements and reorganization of exterior storage areas. iii. B-7 Text Amendments for the R-7 Zone; City of Portland, Applicant. (5:30-6:30 PM- estimated time, subject to change) The Board will review revisions to the conditional use section of the B-7 zone regarding restrictions on surface parking and existing buildings. A revision to allow vertical expansion of existing building not meeting the maximum street setback shall also be considered. |
| 2. | PUBLIC HEARING – 7:00 PM i. Cheverus High School Parking Lot Expansion; Vicinity of 311 Ocean Avenue, Cheverus High School, Applicant. (7:00- 8:00 PM- estimated time, subject to change) The applicant is proposing to expand their existing parking areas by approximately 60 vehicle spaces. ii. Text Amendments for R-7 Zone; Parking Division/ City of Portland, Applicant. (8:00 PM- estimated time, subject to change) The Board will review the density, parking and side yard setback provisions in the R-7 zone to require one parking space per dwelling unit on the peninsula and restrictions on government assisted housing eligibility for density bonus in the Incentives for Affordable Housing Ordinance. |
