REPORT OF DECISIONS AT THE PREVIOUS MEETING, HELD ON JULY 8TH, 2008.

i. Prolerized New England Company Metal Recycling Facility; Vicinity of 568 Riverside Street; Prolerized New England Company, Applicant.

The Planning Board voted unanimously 0-6 (Lewis absent) on a motion to waive the sidewalk, therefore the waiver was not granted; voted unanimously 6-0 (Lewis absent) to grant the waive of the driveway width; voted unanimously 6-0 (Lewis absent) to grant the waiver of the parking aisle width; voted unanimously 6-0 (Lewis absent) to grant the waiver of the minimum distance between driveways; and voted 5-1 (Odokara opposed; Lewis absent) to approve the site plan subject to ten (10) conditions of approval.

ii. Cheverus High School Athletic Improvements; Vicinity of 311 Ocean Avenue; Cheverus High School, Applicant.

The Planning Board voted unanimously 6-0 (Lewis absent) to approve the conditional use subject to two (2) conditions of approval.

iii. Auto Mart Automobile Dealership; Vicinity of 745 Forest Avenue; Stephen Mardigan, Applicant.

The Planning Board voted unanimously 6-0 (Lewis absent) to approve the conditional use subject to six (6) conditions of approval; voted unanimously 6-0 (Lewis absent) on a waiver of driveway opening limitations; and voted unanimously 6-0 (Lewis absent) to approve the site plan subject to nine (9) conditions of approval.

iv. The Bay House Amended Site Plan and Subdivision; Vicinity of 112 Newbury Street; Village at Ocean Gate, Applicant.

The Planning Board voted 4-1 (Patterson opposed; Odokara and Lewis absent) that the site plan is in conformance with the conditional rezoning; voted unanimously 5-0 (Odokara and Lewis absent) to grant three waivers; voted unanimously 5-0 (Odokara and Lewis absent) to approve the subdivision subject to nine (9) conditions of approval; and voted unanimously 5-0 (Odokara and Lewis absent) to approve the site plan subject to three (3) conditions of approval.

NEW BUSINESS

i. True Street Subdivision; Vicinity of 41 True Street; Nick and Amanda Kent, Applicants.(6:30 – 7:15 p.m. – estimated time, subject to change)

The applicant is proposing an eight lot residential subdivision to be located on True Street off of Ocean Avenue.

ii. Yale Street Subdivision; Vicinity of Yale Street; MJ Development Co., Applicant. (6:30 – 7:15 p.m. – estimated time, subject to change)

The applicant is proposing to create three single family lots on Yale Street (in the vicinity of Allen Avenue).

iii. Skylark Commons Subdivision; Vicinity of Skylark Road; Frank DiDonato, Applicant.(8:00 – 8:45 p.m. - estimated time, subject to change)

The applicant is proposing a 17-lot subdivision (Skylark Commons Subdivision) to be located in the vicinity of Skylark Road and Coolidge Avenue.

iv. Appeal of Historic Preservation Board Decision; Vicinity of 98 Pleasant Street; Michael Costin, Applicant. (8:45 – 9:30 p.m. -estimated time, subject to change)

The applicant is appealing the decision by the Historic Preservation Board to deny his request for exterior alterations at 98 Pleasant Street.
