| 3. | REPORT OF DECISIONS FROM MEETING HELD ON MARCH 19, 2008 i. Certificate of Appropriateness for Window Replacement; 33 West Street; Trevor Watson, Applicant. The Historic Preservation Board voted 4-1 (Deprez opposed; Oldham, Romano absent) to approve the application, subject to conditions. ii. Request to Amend Previously Approved Plans; 15-17 Winter Street; Barbara Hathaway Ward, Applicant. The Historic Preservation Board voted 5-0 (Oldham, Romano absent) to approve (with conditions) all but one component of the applicant's proposal. With the respect to the proposed driveway/fence configuration, the Board voted 4-1 (Deprez opposed; Oldham, Romano absent) to approve the configuration, subject to conditions. iii. Certificate of Appropriateness for Installation of Signs; 111 High Street & 7 Congress Square; Portland Museum of Art, Applicant. The Historic Preservation Board voted 6-0 (Oldham absent) to approve the application subject to conditions. A site visit will be scheduled to confirm final placement of the proposed signs. iv. Request to Dismantle Designated Landmark on basis of Dangerous Buildings Exception; 66 Congress Street; Friends of St. Lawrence Church, Applicant. The Historic Preservation Board voted 6-0 (Oldham absent) to accept the proposed mitigation measure outlined in the draft "Schedule of Documentation for the Recordings of the St. Lawrence Church", subject to the condition that two additional mitigation measures be added to the list. |
