Appellant is requesting a Conditional Use for four professional offices located on the first floor. The Appeal is a continuance from February 15, 2007. 2. New Business: A. Practical Difficulty Variance Appeal: 11 A Prince Street, Peaks Island, Richard L. and Susan M. Coburn owners Tax Map #091 Block J Lot #018 and 019 in the IR1 Island Residential Zone. The appellant is seeking a Practical Difficulty Variance Appeal under section 14-145.5 of the City of Portland Zoning Ordinance. Appellant is requesting a variance due to additions and alterations performed without the benefit of required building permits. Section 145.5 requires a twenty foot side yard setback instead of the ten foot and eighteen foot side yards resulting from the nonconforming work. Representing the Appeal is Kirk Goodhue.
