| The Portland Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal by the Preble Street Resource Center to use part of the existing Day Shelter as an emergency overnight shelter for women (approximately 30 and up to 50).

| The Portland Planning Board will hold an evening workshop to consider a proposal by the University of Southern Maine. The applicant is proposing a 4-story resource and learning center which will consist of classrooms, activity spaces, administrative functions and research staff offices. The project will be located in the vicinity of 53-65 Winslow Street and 20 Bedford Street. The project also involves the construction of a 3-story expansion to the Osher Map Library.
