4. ANNOUNCEMENT OF DECISIONS AT THE PREVIOUS MEETING, HELD ON SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2006.
iPackard Development; Reconsideration of Traffic Movement Permit; Vicinity of 33 Allen Avenue; requested by Debra Keenan.
The Portland Planning Board tabled this item to the September 19, 2006 meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m.
iiConditional Rezoning; Vicinity of 121 and 135 Sheridan Street; Greg Shinberg, Applicant.
The Portland Planning Board voted 4-2 (Odokara and Beal opposed; Patterson absent) on a motion to recommend the proposed rezoning to the City Council subject to four (4) conditions of approval.
iiiConditional Use; Vicinity of 3 Storer Street; Waynflete School, Applicant.
The Portland Planning Board voted 2-3 (Hall, Tevanian and Beal opposed; Odokara recused; Patterson absent) to approve the conditional use of 3 Storer Street subject to four (4) conditions of approval, therefore the motion to approve failed.

The Board voted 3-2 (Silk and Lowry opposed; Odokara recused; Patterson absent) on a motion to deny the conditional use approval, therefore the motion to deny failed.

The Board voted unanimously 5-0 (Odokara recused; Patterson absent) to table this item indefinitely.
ivThe Village at Ocean Gateway Conditional Rezoning; Vicinity of 112 Newbury Street; The Village at Ocean Gate LLC., Applicant.
The Portland Planning Board voted 3-3 (Beal, Odokara and Silk opposed; Patterson absent) on a motion to recommend the rezoning to the City Council.

The Portland Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a reconsideration by Debra Keenan regarding the Traffic Movement Permit issued by the Planning Board.
6. NEW BUSINESS (times indicated are estimated)
iPharmacy; Vicinity of 365 Allen Avenue; Rite Aid Corporation, Applicant. (7:30 – 8:45 p.m.)
The Portland Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal by Rite Aid for construction of a 14,500 sq. ft. retail/pharmacy building.
iiBayside Railyard Temporary Parking; Vicinity of 163 Preble Street; Bayside Ventures, LLC., Applicant. (8:45 – 9:30 p.m.)
The Portland Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal by Bayside Ventures, LLC for a proposed 75-space temporary parking lot in the vicinity of 163 Preble Street (Bayside Railyard). The Downtown Portland Corporation is a co-applicant. Access to the site will be from Somerset Street. The total land area of the site is 1.9 acres but only a portion of the site will be used for parking. The parking lot is intended to be used to provide additional parking for tenants at 63 Marginal Way until a parking garage is completed at 84 Marginal Way.
