i. Certificate of Appropriateness for Storefront Alterations; 10 Exchange Street; 10 Exchange Street LLC.

The Board voted 6-0 (Burke absent) that the proposed storefront alteration failed to meet Standards # 2, 3, and 5 of the historic preservation ordinance. Accordingly, approval was denied.

ii. Certificate of Appropriateness for Building Sign Replacement; 443 Congress Street; JJR 443 Congress LLC.

As the applicant was not available to make a presentation, the Board voted 6-0 (Burke absent) to table the application to the November 16, 2011 meeting.

iii. Certificate of Appropriateness for Roof Replacement; 61 Neal Street, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Applicant.

The Board voted 6-0 (Burke absent) to approve the application as revised, pending confirmation by Corporation Counsel that the Board’s vote satisfies the Board’s rules and procedures. (See enclosed memorandum from Corporation Counsel.)
