4. REPORT OF DECISIONS AT THE PREVIOUS MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 11, 2011

i. Brentwood parcel Master Plan-Addendum for Evergreen Master-Plan; Comprehensive Plan recommendation to City Council, Friends of Evergreen Cemetery, Applicant.
The Planning Board voted 6-1 (Silk opposed) on the findings for this item, and voted unanimously (7-0) to recommend that the plan be adopted by the City Council.

ii.
B-7 Text and Height Zoning Amendment; City of Portland, Applicant.
The Planning Board voted unanimously (7-0) to table this item to March 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.

iii.
Hostels, Zoning Amendment; City of Portland, Applicant. The Planning Board voted 6-1 (Silk opposed) to approve this item, subject to three (3) conditions of approval.

5. NEW BUSINESS

i.
R-7 37 Unit Housing Development Site Plan and Subdivision; Vicinity of Children’s Hospital Housing Partners LP, Applicant (6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., estimated time subject to change.) The Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal by the Children’s Hospital Housing, LP to create thirty-five (35) affordable housing units at 66-68 High Street.

ii. 468 Commercial Street; Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT), International Marine Terminal, Applicant. (7:00 p.m.-7:05 p.m., estimated time subject to change.) The Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal by the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) at the International Marine Terminal. The proposal includes removing portions of existing structures, constructing a 3,300 sq. ft. administrative building, a 5,000 sq. ft. pier expansion, lighting and upgrades to the paving, grading and utilities. Note: This item is requested to be tabled to February 22, 2011 meeting at 7:00 p.m.

iii.
Text Amendment to allow Neighborhood Centers in IL Zones, and as Conditional Use as Place of Assembly in Residential Zones, and associated amendments; City of Portland, Applicant. (7:05 p.m.,estimated time subject to change.) The Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider zoning amendments proposed by the City of Portland to allow Neighborhood Centers (formerly “community centers”) as a permitted use in the IL zone, with associated amendment to IL purpose statement; to make this use a conditional (institutional) use in residential zones; to modify the parking regulations for neighborhood centers; to amend the B-7 use category for places of religious assembly, and associated amendments to definitions.
