The Portland Planning Board will hold a meeting on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Room 209, 2nd Floor, City Hall. The agenda includes the following with estimated times that are subject to change:

WORKSHOP
–3:30 p.m.
i. 66-68 High Street; Children’s Hospital Housing Partners, LP (with Community Housing of Maine), Applicant. (3:30-4:30 p.m., estimated time subject to change.) The Planning Board will hold a workshop to consider a Preliminary Subdivision and Level III Site Plan proposal by Children’s Hospital Housing Partners LP to construct a (35) thirty-five dwelling unit renovation and new addition development.

PUBLIC HEARING –7:00 p.m.
i. Brentwood Parcel Master Plan-Addendum for Evergreen Master Plan; Comprehensive Plan recommendation to City Council, Friends of Evergreen Cemetery, Applicant. (7:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m., estimated time subject to change.) The Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a plan by the Friends of Evergreen Cemetery and the City of Portland to amend the Evergreen Cemetery Master Plan with a treatment plan for the Brentwood Parcels to be an element of Portland’s Comprehensive Plan.

ii. B-7 Text and Height Zoning Amendment; City of Portland, Applicant. (7:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., estimated time subject to change.) The Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal to revise certain sections of the B-7 Zone Text pertaining to surface parking provisions and revision to the Bayside Height Overlay Zone Map, to reduce the minimum building height requirements.

iii. Hostels, Zoning Amendment; City of Portland, Applicant. (8:00 p.m.– estimated time subject to change.) The Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a plan by the City of Portland to allow hostel (a form of transient lodging) in the R6, B3, B5 and B7 Zones.
