| 1. | LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT PORTLAND PLANNING BOARD The Portland Planning Board will hold a meeting on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Room 209, 2nd Floor, City Hall. The agenda includes the following with estimated times that are subject to change. EVENING WORKSHOP – 7:00 p.m. i. 184 Pearl Street; Pearl Place; Phase II, Preliminary Site Plan and Subdivision Review, Avesta Housing, Applicant.(7:00 p.m. -7:45 p.m., estimated time subject to change.) The Portland Planning Board will hold an evening workshop to consider a preliminary plan by Avesta Housing for a total of 54 apartments in two buildings at 184 Pearl Street. The units are proposed as affordable housing with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units. The site is in the B-7 zone with street frontage on Pearl and Lancaster Streets. ii. Wind Ordinance; Text Amendment, City of Portland, Applicant. (7:45-9:00 p.m., estimated time subject to change.) The Portland Planning Board will hold an evening workshop to consider a proposed ordinance to allow various types of wind energy generation systems in most City Zones, including residential, business, industrial and the Recreation Open Space Zones. The Planning Board will make a recommendation on the proposed ordinance to the City Council at a future public hearing.
