| 1. | The Portland Planning Board will hold a meeting on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in Room 209, 2nd Floor, City Hall. The agenda includes the following with estimated times that are subject to change: WORKSHOP-3:30 P.M. i. Hostels, Zoning Text Amendment; (3:30–4:30 p.m.-estimated time subject to change.) The Portland Planning Board will hold a workshop to consider a Zoning Text Amendment to establish hostels as a defined use within the Land Use Ordinance. This will be the second workshop. ii. B-7 Zoning Amendments; Parking and Minimum Height Amendments; (4:30-5:30 p.m.- estimated change.) The Portland Planning Board will hold a workshop to consider various amendments to the B-7 Zone, including revisions to surface parking, minimum building height and vertical expansion of existing buildings, exceeding the maximum street setback. PUBLIC HEARING–5:30 p.m. i. 2 lot and 3 unit Subdivision and Site Plan; 208-212 Hicks Street, Diversified Properties Inc, Applicant. (5:30 p.m–6:30 p.m.- estimated time subject to change.) The Portland Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a plan by Diversified Properties Inc. to create 2 lots, and construct a 3 unit multiplex on the second lot at 208-212 Hicks Street. The project will be reviewed for compliance with the subdivision and site plan ordinances of the Land Use Ordinance.
