4. ANNOUNCEMENT OF DECISIONS AT THE PREVIOUS MEETING, HELD ON JUNE 27th, 2006.
iPearl Place Site Plan, Subdivision and Conditional Use Review; Vicinity of 210 Pearl Street; Avesta Housing, Applicant.
The Portland Planning Board voted 5-0 (Anton and Silk recused) to waive the parking aisle width and parking space size; voted 5-0 (Anton and Silk recused) to approve the site plan subject to five (5) conditions of approval; voted 5-0 (Anton and Silk recused) to approve the B-7 Conditional Use Standards subject to one (1) condition of approval; and voted 5-0 (Anton and Silk recused) to approve the subdivision subject to two (2) conditions of approval.
ii7-Lot Subdivision; Vicinity of Burnside Avenue; Wilson Velasquez, Applicant.
The Portland Planning Board voted 6-1 (Anton opposed) to approve the subdivision subject to thirteen (13) conditions of approval; voted unanimously 7-0 to waive the technical standards related to stormwater quantity; and voted unanimously 7-0 to waive the sidewalk on the south side of Burnside Avenue.
5. NEW BUSINESS
iDrive-Thru Coffee Shop; Vicinity of 1080 Forest Avenue; Stephen Mardigan, Applicant. (7:30 - 8:15 p.m. (estimated time)
The Portland Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a plan by Stephen E. Mardigan. The applicant is proposing a new one-story 1,760 sq. ft. building with 21 parking spaces and a change of use to a drive-thru coffee shop.
iiMixed Use Development; Vicinity of 33 Allen Avenue; Morrill’s Crossing, LLC., Applicant. (8:15 - 10:00 p.m. (estimated time)
The Portland Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider a plan by Morrills Crossing, LLC for a mixed use development. The project will consist of retail, office, restaurant, residential and recreational uses, together with associated parking for the uses. The project will be reviewed for compliance with the Site Plan, Subdivision and an MDOT Traffic Permit. Traffic improvements to Morrill's Corner and Read/Bell Streets are proposed, as well as the vacation of Rock Hill Road and a portion of Magnolia Street.
