| 5. | REPORT OF DECISIONS AT THE PREVIOUS MEETING, HELD ON FEBRUARY 23rd, 2010: i. B-2 Text Amendments; City of Portland, Applicant. The Planning Board voted unanimously 6-0 (Hall absent) to recommend the proposed zoning and site plan amendments to the City Council. |
| 6. | NEW BUSINESS i. Maine Yacht Marina Storage/Parking Area; Kensington Street, Maine Yacht Center, Applicant. (7:00 – 7:30 p.m. – estimated time, subject to change). The board will consider a proposal by the Maine Yacht Center for a site plan according to the provisions of a recent approved Conditional Zone Agreement. The proposed development would expand the existing commercial marine facility along Kensington St. for the purposes of outdoor storage, repair and maintenance of boats, masts, stands, and related marine equipment. ii. Presumpscot Street Subdivision: 383 Presumpscot Street, Timothy Sanders, Applicant. (7:30 – 8:00 p.m. – estimated time, subject to change). The Board will consider a proposal by Timothy Sanders for a three-lot industrial subdivision located at 383 Presumpscot St. All lots are directly accessed from Presumpscot St. The subdivision is an after the fact review as the lots were created in less than five years and were previously developed in compliance with the City of Portland Site Plan Ordinance. iii. Fee in Lieu of Parking; City of Portland, Applicant. (8:00 p.m. – estimated time, subject to change). The Board will consider a proposed ordinance that provides a voluntary alternative to minimum parking requirements for development with a “Fee in Lieu of Parking” option. The proposed land use ordinance amendments include a reorganization of the parking requirements and the creation of a “Sustainable Transportation Fund.” ** There is no Workshop portion of this meeting.
