AGENDA

1. WORKSHOP – 3:30 p.m.

i. Conditional Rezoning; Vicinity of 18 Luther Street, Peaks Island; Homestart Affordable Housing, Applicant. (3:30 – 4:15 estimated time) The Board will hold a workshop to consider a conditional rezoning of IR-2 by Homestart Affordable Housing to allow the development of 2 new single-family affordable housing units on Peaks Island.

ii. Street Discontinuance; Vicinity of Oak Street; Lafayette Portland, LLC., Applicant. (4:15 – 5:00 estimated time) The Board will hold a workshop to consider a street discontinuance by Lafayette Portland, LLC. for the portion of Oak Street between Spring and Pleasant Streets.

iii. Bank Building; Vicinity of 320 Allen Avenue; Bangor Savings Bank, Applicant. (5:00 – 5:45 estimated time) The Board will hold a workshop to consider a plan by Bangor Savings Bank for a 3,467 sq. ft. bank building at 320 Allen Avenue (currently the Espo’s site).

iv. WCZ (Waterfront Central Zone) Text Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Policy (5:45 – 6:30 estimated time) The Board will hold a workshop to consider a proposed inventory of economic and land use data for the WCZ process as part of the process to evaluate the underlying policy of the zone.

PUBLIC HEARING – 7:00 p.m.

i. Zone Change; Vicinity of 38 India Street; PME 1 Limited Partnership, Applicant. (7:00 – 7:30 estimated time) The Board will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal by PME 1 Limited Partnership to repeal a conditional rezoning at 38 India Street and return the property to the underlying Downtown Business B-3 zone. The conditional rezoning was adopted on August 9, 2005 and it allowed a mixed use project, including a hotel, condominiums and retail/commercial space as shown on the map.

EVENING WORKSHOP – 7:30 p.m.

i. Site Plan Procedures; City of Portland, Applicant. The Board will consider proposed amendments to the Site Plan Ordinance to update the site plan review procedures.
