Employee of the Month for March Announced

4/5/2012 - Keith Lynds of the Aviation and Transportation Department was named City of Portland Employee of the Month for March, 2012. Keith was selected for this honor by a committee of his peers from a workforce of 1,300.

This award was presented in recognition of Keith's duties as an Airport Maintenance Worker III at the Portland International Jetport.

For over 25 years, Keith has consistently displayed a dedication to his duties, performing runway inspections and airfield maintenance each day.

In addition, he considers himself part of a team and takes every opportunity to share his knowledge and expertise with co-workers.

Keith has earned a reputation for being dependable and responsive, and has earned the respect of peers and the greater airport community for his commitment and willingness to lend a hand.

Keith is a prime example of how customer service should be provided to the Jetport’s traveling public and tenants.
