My grandfriend Bernie was in World War II. Bernie was born on September 2, 1928. He is 80 years old. He is very nice and not shy. Bernie has 5 sons and 4 daughters. His favorite baseball team is the Boston Red Sox. He has an electric wheelchair. On Friday, October 17 he came to visit our school on a fancy bus that had an elevator for wheelchairs with a ramp. He was impressed with all of our poetry that we read to him when he visited our classroom.
