If you know your way around Portland and what it offers 1,000s of visitors, than maybe you should consider volunteering at a Visitor Information Center operated by the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Portland. Volunteers are asked to commit to a 4-5 hour shift each week. We are open Monday - Saturday year round, with exception of July & August when we are open 7 days a week. Summers are particularly busy, so your dedication to commitment is appreciated. Additionally, weekends get very busy from mid-June through Columbus Day and extra help would be appreciated.
The Convention & Visitors Bureau is a non-profit, member based organization promoting over 400 businesses in Portland and across Maine. It is also the chosen tourism organization to promote the region by Maine Tourism. To learn more about the CVB, please visit: www.visitportland.com.
