International Code Review

11/27/2007 - To promote local cities and towns to adopt the International Codes, and to educate builders, architects, and code enforcement officials, The City of Portland would like help in planning a seminar with International Code Officials. We support the use of these codes and highly recommend local adoption, in support of the State Law. A survey could be sent out to identify areas of interest in order to plan covered topics and offer a wide variety of training. This would include planning the logistics of the seminar, Code Council presenters, public relations and accommodation. The City may have facilities available for the event to save on costs.
