Barron Center

11/27/2007 - The Barron Center uses volunteers everyday of the week. We have a volunteer force of 200. Volunteers assist with organized recreational activities, outside trips, entertainment and visiting. Volunteers help residents get to and from activities such as Beano, musical programs and parties. We have volunteers who provide Pet Therapy and civic organizations approach us with special projects, holiday events and community projects. Many residents enjoy a "friendly visitor" or enjoy being read to. There are often opportunities available that do no involve direct resident contact, in the kitchen, laundry and business office.
