Election Workers

11/13/2007 - There are two positions at the polls that we are trying to fill, Deputy Registrar and Election Clerk. Deputy Registrars register voters and act as a liaison with the Registrar at City Hall. Election Clerks check voters in, give them their ballots and wrap up the election at the end of the day. Eventually, Election Clerks may become Wardens and Ward Clerks, the first and second in charge, when vacancies arise. In order to be an election clerk, one must be a registered voter of Portland.
