7/1/2005 - 7/1/2005 - The Resource Hub, formerly located at 441 Congress Street, quickly became a mainstay for hundreds of area businesses after its opening in November of 1997. The extensive services offered by the Hub, such as business planning software, internet research capabilities, resource library and educational seminars will be enhanced by adding the capabilities of the entire staff of Portland’s Economic Development Division.

In addition, relationships with other business development agencies such as the Small Business Development Center and the Portland SCORE Chapter mean that Portland’s Economic Development Division is truly a “one-stop shop” for starting or growing a business.
