Synchronizing with other municipalities - eg, term limits on Harbor Commissioners (South Portland has none) c. Consistency with ordinance check-in - eg, Friends of the Parks - 3 councilors required per ordinance d. Consistent definitions across committees in ordinance - eg, "resident" inconsistently defined across committees in the ordinance |
| 4. | Outreach strategy for appointed Committees - low responses for many committees Non-union Personnel topics: 1. Format and content of Council review of the 3 direct hires - review for 2009? (too late for this year?) 2. Recruitment and retention Issues - do we have recruiting and retention issues? if so, why and what strategies to address? 3. Diversity Plan - take stock of our efforts to date to develop workplace diversity and develop prospective plan to address identified shortcomings. |
