AGENDA

1. 5:00 PM Public Conversations
Purpose: to gather input from the public on the Commission’s Preliminary report in two ways and times 1) informal table conversations that will allow members of the public to ask questions about and make comments on the Commission’s Preliminary Report and 2) a traditional public hearing
Desired Outcomes:
• A list of the individuals’ comments on the Preliminary Report from the various tables and from the hearing
• A sense of what was most important to the different table discussions
1. Call to Order and Review of Meeting. Vice Chair Cohen (5:00 PM.)

2. Report on the key points in the Commission’s Preliminary Report: Vice Chair Cohen

3. Public Conversations Commissioner Mermin (5:15 PM)
a. Review of meeting purpose and desired outcomes
b. Review of the handouts available
c. Review of process and groundrules
d. Identify the number of groups needed
e. Each table will have one or more Commissioners available to answer questions and collect comments and feedback on the Preliminary Report.
f. Brief summery of one key point from each table

6. Announcements Chair Plumb (7:05 p.m.)

7. Approval of Minutes of May 13, 2010 Chair Plumb (7:10 p.m.)

8. Public Hearing Chair Plumb (7:15 p.m.)

Remaining Schedule Thursday, June 24: discussion of any changes based on public input
Thursday, July 1: agreement on any changes to the Preliminary Report
Thursday, July 8: final passage of the Preliminary report
