[ARCHIVED] Meeting on Conceptual Improvements of Dana Street and Wharf Street

On Thursday, January 23 from 6-7pm at Merrill Auditorium Rehearsal Hall (Myrtle Street), City staff will be presenting and seeking public input on concepts for the potential redesign of Dana Street and improvements to Wharf Street.

The project area includes:

- Dana Street between Fore Street and Commercial Street - Wharf Street between Union Street and Moulton Street

The primary goal of this project is to improve these two streets to comply with ADA standards, improve drainage and current surface conditions, and evaluate circulation for vehicular and pedestrian safety.

Staff will be looking for feedback from area businesses and neighbors about how these areas are used, how well they function today, and how proposed changes may impact the public. A brief presentation will be given, after which questions from the public will be answered.
